NUREP to Build Multipurpose Hall In Moroto PDF Print E-mail

NUREP to Build Multipurpose Hall In Moroto

The contract to construct a multi purpose hall in the Office of the Prime Minister (OPM) premises in Moroto has been signed. The Permanent Secretary of the Office of the Prime Minister, Mr. Pius Bigirimana signed on behalf of OPM while Mr. Juma Godfrey Okalebo signed on behalf of Multicon Ltd, the contractor.

The hall  which will cost UGX 320 million is the final phase of the renovation of the OPM offices in Moroto by NUREP. The hall will be used for various government activities such as meetings.

Multicon Ltd is also renovating Obalanga Sub County Headquarters in Amuria, staff houses at Okoboi Health Centre II in Amuria and the ASTU offices in Olem, Abim District.  

The consruction of the hall is part of NUREP's support to the OPM which also includes supporting the roll out of the PRDP, renovation of some OPM offices in Kampala, and equipment among others.

NUREP was represented at the signing ceremony by Mr. Apolo Kakaire, the Communication and Reporting Officer.
